Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Bwindi
Our safari guide will pick you from the airport upon arrival or from
the Hotel in
Kigali and take you for a city tour. Visit the genocide memorial,
Nyamata
church, local markets among others. You will then drive
northwards
across the border to Bwindi National park in Uganda. You will enjoy
a spectacular scenic view en route of the Virunga Mountains.
Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Haven Lodge -

Day 2 : Gorilla trekking and cultural walk.
Take your early breakfast and head to the park headquarters for
briefing before entering the tropical forest. You will spend a
maximum of one-hour taking observations; photographs and
watching Gorillas feed or play around. In the evening, you may go
for a community walk to the neighboring village.

Day 3: Transfer to L. Bunyonyi and canoe ride
In the morning, you will be transferred to L. Bunyonyi, a perfect
place for relaxation. The distance from Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi is
roughly 2 hours from Ruhija and 4 hours from Buhoma depending
on where you are connecting from.
You will then take a canoe along the lake to explore some of the
fascinating islands on this lake as well as enjoying beautiful sounds
of birds.Overnight at Bunyonyi Oveland Resort.

Day 4: Transfer to Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National
Park.Set off in the morning to Q.E.N.P, you will drive north to the
Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National park for a chance to see
the tree climbing lions. The park is famous for its tree climbing
lions that are not seen elsewhere in East Africa. You will be at the
hotel for lunch. After lunch you will head to the plains and fig trees
interspersed the savanna that shelter these giant beasts.
Return to the hotel for an overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After your morning breakfast you setoff for an early game drive to
early risers as they’re retreating to their hiding covers then after the
game drive, proceed and check in the hotel for lunch and prepare
for an afternoon boat cruise along Kazinga channel.
Along your boat ride, you will be in position to see a number of
aquatic life such Hippos and crocodiles while other animals are
seen roaming the lake shores like Elephants and Buffaloes with
variety of bird species. In the evening, go for game drives.
Dinner and overnight at Irungu Safari lodge. -

Day 6: Game drive and crater lakes experience.
In the morning, you will go for more game drives to catch up with
early risers before returning to their hiding places. You will
encounter game as lions, hyenas, bushbucks, elephants amongothers. Return to the lodge for a late breakfast and spend the
following hours relaxing at the lodge.
Then later in the afternoon you will head for Crater lakes located in
Rubirizi district. Rubirizi is endowed with 56 craters of which 32 are
crater lakes. Among the lakes are two pairs of twin lakes.

Day 7:Departure
After breakfast, our safari guide will take you to the viewpoint of
Lake Bunyonyi before driving back to Kigali Airport or Kigali city
depending on your flight.End of tour
